On January 8, 2011 our Brookie Cookie turned four. She is such a joy and truly lights up a room. Here are some of her favorite things as a big four year old:
Her favorite colors are pink and purple. She loves playing with her sisters and has a fantastic imagination. No matter what they are doing, Brooke likes to pick what character she is and always likes to be the cutest, girliest option. Her favorite TV shows are Dora and Phineas and Ferb (when she gets to be Isabella). Her favorite movies are currently Despicable Me, Tangled and anything with Barbie, princesses and fairies.
She still loves purses and has to dress all of her Build-A-Bears several times daily. She loves jewelry and lip gloss and anything fancy. Her favorite food is shell noodles with butter and tomato juice and a homemade yogurt and fruit smoothie. She said her favorite thing to play is dollhouse and her favorite restaurant is Olive Garden. She loves taking ballet and is so excited for their performance in June. When I asked her what she wants to be when she grows up, she said a teacher. I am pretty sure that is because she loves attending Katelyn’s preschool. She wants to be just like Katelyn and Katelyn is definitely her teacher.
Everything in Brooke’s world is truly made of rainbows and sunshine. One morning I asked her if she had sweet dreams and she said yes and proceeded to tell me about her dream. She said we were together dancing on white fluffy clouds and then we decided to sit down on a rainbow and fancy yummy drinks together.
She also can have quite the sassy attitude when she wants to. This summer we were swimming with my good friend Tammy and her kids. Brooke wanted to show us all her new trick so she yelled “Hey everybody! Watch and learn!”
Brooke was so excited about this picture. She loved the colored presents and that she got to hold her bear, Lollipop Shimmer along with a number four and a cake that had colorful heart sprinkles on top. When we were looking at the photos, she saw the confetti border and begged to have that to “decorate [her] favorite picture ever!” She is so much fun and really knows how to celebrate.
One of my favorite things about Brooke is that she was born to love and show love to others. She will come find you out of the blue just to give you a big hug and tell you that she loves you. She is also famous for being in the middle of something and saying “You know what mom, I really love you. You are my best friend.” Or my other favorite, “Mom, how much longer until Katelyn gets home from school? I really miss her.” We love you so much Brookie Cookie! Thanks for being such a sweetheart.
