Last summer we had our annual downtown day with the Wills, but two things were VERY VERY different… Katelyn and “little” Kyle weren’t with us. Katelyn was at Girls’ camp and Kyle was at Camp Luther Haven. We definitely missed having them with us, but we still enjoyed our special day we Kara.
To mix things up, we took the bus rather than driving. It was a blast and the girls loved sporting their matching 4th of July shirts too!
Our first stop was Mobius and the Plasma cars.
The girls happily spent the morning playing all over the museum and enjoying their “triplet day.”
Emily of course spent some of her time in the art area – that is always one of her favorite things at Mobius.
Then we had a nice lunch break at Red Robin… Yum!
After lunch we headed outside to enjoy the river, fountain and flowers. The girls were also very excited about getting their pictures taken together in their matching outfits.
We of course had to play on the giant Radio Flier slide and finish the day off with some ice cream. We had a blast and look forward to our next adventure when the whole crew can be there together.
Emily loved the bus ride but was so tired she passed out in my arms the second she sat down. That’s the sign of a great day.
