Kindergarten during the holidays is seriously the best place to be. Brooke’s awesome teacher was so nice and invited me to help with all of the fun activities. I was thrilled!
One December afternoon, we helped the kids decorate some darling gingerbread cookies. The kids loved all of the frosting and decorating and were nice and sugared up by the time we were finished preparing the cookies.
Next, Brooke’s teacher gathered up the kids and read them the story of the gingerbread man. Unbeknownst to the kids, sometime during the story, their cookies ran away. So we gathered them together and read our first clue.
The clues lead us all over the school and the kids loved every minute.
My favorite clue, led us into the office where the kids questioned the awesome office secretary Bev. She vehemently denied seeing the cookies, but had frosting on her face so the kids considered her a very suspicious character.
Several clues later, the kids happily found their cookies. They returned to their classroom and celebrated by eating them. It was such a fun day. I love Kindergarten.

I'm glad you posted this! Brooke is so cute! Jessica has Mrs. Griffith this year and it looks like she is a great teacher. :)
