To kick-off our Christmas break the girls invited their BFFs over for a day of fun. We started by making sugar cookies and eating lots of dough.
The girls loved cutting out our the cookie shapes and made some really cute cookies.
Our frosting factory was a huge hit and included lots of sprinkles too.
We’ve done this for several years and it is amazing how good they have all gotten at decorating. They surpassed my ability long ago.
To help burn off the sugar, we had planned to go sledding. The problem was that by the time we headed out there wasn’t much snow left. But the kids didn’t care and it certainly didn’t stop them.
These girls flew up and down the hill.
They laughed and squealed and laughed some more.
It was a perfect start to Christmas break.
