To start our last full day at Disneyland, we took advantage of our early admission into California Adventure and headed straight for Paradise Pier. While everyone else charged towards Car’s Land, we slide past them and enjoyed an hour of a mostly empty rides. We started with Toy Story Mania and rode it so many times I lost count. It was fun trying to beat our best scores and the 3-D glasses were a big hit with the girls.
Next we split our time between Mickey’s Fun Wheel and Goofy’s Sky School. Both rides had no line at all the the view from the top was beautiful. There is something about not having to wait in line at Disneyland that seems so wrong but it feels oh so right.
After our adventures in the sky we spent some time ride repeating on the carrousel and California Screamin’. As you can see in the picture, we rode the rollercoaster so many times that Kyle got bored with it and napped during our ride.
After some super efficient riding thanks to the short lines, we came across the Phineas and Ferb Rockin’ and Rollin’ Dance Party. Emily and Brooke loved that they got to dance and spent a lot of time trying to get Katelyn to join them.
They loved getting to do the limbo and even partnered up with with one of Isabella’s Fireside Girls to learn all the dance moves. Brooke kept up immediately and Emily had the moves down in no time at all.
We finished up our time on the Pier with an ice cream stop at Ghirardelli Square. The sun was shinning and the treats were awesome. A day really can’t get much better.
Before heading to Disneyland, Emily and I rode Ariel’s Undersea Adventure a few more times while the rest of our group went Soarin’ Over California one last time. It was such a great morning and we were excited for another sunny afternoon in Disneyland.
