Even though we’d already had breakfast with Minnie Mouse, the girls were excited to see her again at her home in Toon Town. On our past trips, this had been a favorite for Katelyn and Brooke and they were excited to show Emily around her cute little house.
They loved Minnie’s fun furniture and her beautiful make-up mirror.
The kitchen has always been their favorite. They loved watching the dishwasher run, seeing a cake bake in the oven and even getting to sit at her table with some “food.”
When it was our turn to see her, Emily was so excited that Minnie had her tea set out. After taking pictures with her, Emily got a sad look on her face as we walked away and said, “Minnie forgot to have a tea party with us.” It was so sweet because she was completely serious.
As we were leaving her garden, we checked out her wishing well and made a few wishes, even though I couldn’t imagine things getting any better.
The only downside to the afternoon, was that the time had come for Gram and Pop to leave for the airport. We had such a wonderful time together and I know it is a trip we will always remember (and thank goodness, if we forget, we have 2,000 pictures to remind us of all the fun we had).
