For one of their fundraisers this year, Katelyn’s school did a walk-a-thon. The kids were all so excited… there was nice weather, water bottles and snacks and a local team mascot – what more could they ask for? I am not sure what the mascot is or what team he represents but the kids loved giving him a high five every time they completed a lap. I am pretty sure I saw him get assaulted once or twice too.
Katelyn had a great time with her friends and did lots of laps. Brooke on the other hand, announced that she was “all done please” after our first lap. Fortunately she went to sleep in her stroller and participated ride/sleep-a-thon style.
