This year we went to Carver Farms to find our pumpkins. The weather was absolutely perfect and we had such a good time. There is something so fun about going to an actual farm, especially when you have three beautiful girls that think it is the best thing ever.
The girls LOVED the hay ride and thought the big green tractor was pretty cool.
Emily experienced the pumpkin patch from the Baby Bjorn and even though this picture doesn’t show it, she loved it and squealed and flapped her little heart out.
Everyone carefully selected their pumpkin…
…and were thrilled with their final selections…
…and were glad that the tractor could give us a ride back so that we didn’t have to carry the pumpkins too far. Kyle and I encouraged the girls to pick this pre-decorated pumpkin but we didn’t have any takers.
We had a great time and are looking forward to doing it again next year.
Prior to our trip to the farm, the girls and I went to the final day of the year for the Farmers’ Market. We go any Saturday that we possibly can and always have such a good time. We bought some mini pumpkins and honey sticks and our favorite bakery was giving away samples of their amazing cake. It doesn’t get much better than that in my book.
We had a blast sitting in the sunshine on the grass, listening to the live music and just being together. The girls always love the music and even played along using their honey sticks.
Brooke also worked it with her favorite dance moves and Emily ate happy chewed on my keys. Talk about a great day… we can hardly wait for the market to open in the spring.
We’ll be back…
