On October 28th, Emily turned seven months old and weighed 16 lbs. 10 oz. She continues to be such a happy girl and really pleased herself during the month of October when she started crawling. She loves to crawl and eat and uses her newfound mobility to find lots of things on the floor to taste.
She loves being in her highchair because she knows that means food is coming. To show her appreciation, she makes yummy noises after every bite and opens up so wide you could shove a fist in her mouth.
Her favorite new food this month was Spaghettios. Her sisters were having them for lunch and we thought we would let her try one. That one turned into about 1/4 of a can and we only stopped because the can was empty.
Even though she loves to eat, when she is done she lets you know. She usually turns her head and/or covers her mouth with her hand. Sometimes she will even wave you off. Another little girl who knows exactly what she does and does not want.
She still loves to play in her Exer-saucer and we love it because it contains her path of destruction. She loves being able to crawl but gets frustrated when she ends up stuck underneath the coffee table… this happens numerous time throughout the day.
Her favorite playtime activity continues to be doing anything that includes her sisters. She loves them but it literally wears her out trying to keep up with them during the day.
We love this little girl so much and can’t wait to see her next set of tricks as continues to learn and grow… I just wish she would take her time a little bit.
