This year we opted not to see Santa at the mall but decided to have breakfast with him instead. He was visiting on of our favorite breakfast spots, La Peep. It sits right on the Coeur d’Alene river and is so cute with yummy food too. The girls got to visit with Santa at our table and then we went to have our picture taken with him (sans waiting in line) by the tree. Brooke and Emily were a little confused because Mrs. Clause “didn’t have grey hair.” I’m just glad they didn’t notice her nose piercing or that might have had them in quite a dither. We decided she must have been Santa’s daughter who was filling in for Mrs. Claus.
We had a great breakfast and the girls enjoyed getting to visit with Santa. They even got to steal another hug from Santa on our way out. It was a wonderful and delicious way to see Santa.
