Since we will be celebrating summer 2014 tomorrow, here is the documentation for 2013. Long drives and catching up on the blog go hand in hand.
Summer 2013 was so much fun and we were definitely lamenting the end of all our fun. We started out the day with breakfast at IHOP while we reminisced about all our summer adventures.
After breakfast we finished up some shopping and errands (which included rethinking some of Katelyn’s school supplies and making about 900 3 trips to Target) and then came home to get things ready for the first day of school.
That evening we got to go check out Brooke’s new classroom and meet her awesome new teacher. She was thrilled to have several of her good friends in class with her too. I swear Katelyn was just starting first grade and Brooke was just a baby. My how time flies.
To finish our last day of summer, we headed to Red Robin because our lives revolve around food. Not only was it a great summer but it was our 14th wedding anniversary. We had a great dinner as a family and definitely had a lot to celebrate.
