The Day We Went to the Pacific Science Center

During our visit to see the Yost’s, we ventured into Seattle to take the kids to the Pacific Science Center.

It was the perfect activity for 7 kids ranging in age between 4 months to 16 years old.  Emily was happy with all the attention and as usual loved hanging out in the Baby Bjorn.  She also found more opportunities to try to get some diet Pepsi… but she was unsuccessful again.

The first thing we went to check out was a special circus exhibit that was visiting at the museum.  Abbi and Alli were so good to check things out with Brooke and dress up in the circus clothes while Anna, Will and Katelyn waited in the longest line ever to try out their acrobatic skills on the Cloud Swing.

After a really long wait, they each got a turn – literally.  I was so proud of them all for being so brave -- I was nervous just watching the action from the ground.

The kids also played lots of fun games…

… and enjoyed checking out the tide pools.  Alli proudly showed Brooke a hermit crab she picked up and Brooke had a mild stroke because she thought it was a spider – it was so funny but the tide pool worker was not amused.  He made sure we returned the little crab safely back to his habitat.

Our favorite spot was the butterfly exhibit but it was so great it deserves a post of it’s own.  We had a great afternoon there and loved hanging out with the Yosts.
