We celebrated the fourth of July this year with everyone in Boise. We had a fun day in the sun and did lots of celebrating in the afternoon and evening too. Besides being America’s birthday, it was also Grandma Carol’s birthday on the 4th and aunt Jill’s on the 5th. So we had lots to celebrate.
After a great barbeque, we opened presents and celebrated all of the July birthdays in the family.
Next up it was time for some fun with sparklers. You can’t go wrong with cousins and fire. The kids had a blast and they produced plenty of smoke for everyone.
Then we headed to the front yard for a “warm-up” fireworks display.
Then we headed to see the big show at Ann Morrison Park. The kids took a power nap on the way there, so they were more than ready for the show. It was a great day with lots to celebrate.
