The Day We Celebrated Josh & Jaleese

So to kick off our fourth of July weekend, we got to celebrate the cutest couple ever.  My darling niece Jaleese and her wonderful fiancé Josh came to spend the weekend with all of us and make the final preparations for their wedding at the end of July.  We got to throw Jaleese a bridal shower at which I somehow managed to take zero pictures, but it was a lot of fun.  We also got to be there when they went through the temple for the first time.  It was an amazing couple of days. 

On Saturday afternoon, we all gathered at grandma Carol’s for a yummy barbeque.  It was great to meet Josh’s family and for everyone to visit on such a great day.  

Then it was time for some fun in the pool.  Emily was a big fan of everything pool related except for her hat.  Her favorite pool activity by far was placing dive rings on Dallan’s head like a crown.  Thank goodness he was a fantastic sport about it.

 

 

Emily left the tricks up to the big kids.  There were some great water fights and stunts off the diving board.

It was a great day and we all had a lot of fun celebrating a fantastic couple.
