Emily didn’t really focus on getting her tree decorated “just right.” She was far too enamored with the coolness of the whole activity. She spent most of her time putting on one or two ornaments over and over and preferred to just have them hanging from her fingers. She loved her tree though as evidenced by the number of times she hugged and kissed it.
The girls love looking at the pictures of them with their trees from year’s past, so they posed and asked me to take lots of pictures that they wanted to recreate. The also wanted pictures of their new ornament. Over the years I have given them little ornaments with their names – this year, they got a cute little snowman that was also a bell. Emily was overwhelmed by it’s awesomeness.
Once their trees were decorated, we moved them up to their rooms. Emily redecorates hers about every 15 minutes but Katelyn and Brooke’s tree is just out of her reach, That makes us all happy.

What a fun idea! Those mini trees are adorable! Are they real or fake? Rylynn has a tree and decorations on her Christmas list this year:)
