In an attempt to honor our mini pumpkin tradition that Great Grandma Hardy started so many years ago, we planted some in our own garden last year. Unfortunately, we planted them too late so they didn’t really have enough time to grow like they had for us other years. Nevertheless, we harvested what was there and loved them just the same.
As we picked our pumpkins, we remembered picking them with “Hardy” from her amazing garden and then reminisced about the fun fall packages she would send us filled with mini pumpkins from her amazing garden. It made us happy to remember her and I know it made her smile.
