We love the opening day of the Farmer’s Market and look forward to it all winter long. This year it was a beautiful day but things weren’t quite as we’d planned. Katelyn had a special 6th grade Silverwood Theme Park day with her school for being drug and alcohol free all year long. She was really torn between the two events but decided that a theme park with her friends was the winner since she could go to the Market with us the next weekend. Brooke and Emily completely understood and were super excited to go when Saturday morning rolled around.
We bought plants, honey sticks and their favorite cookies and took a break to enjoy some of our treats in the new Adirondack chairs. It was a great opening day at the Market but we all looked forward to the next one when we could all go together.
