The only thing more exciting than getting your very own nail kit, is getting to use your very own nail kit and do it ALL BY YOURSELF. The day after Emily had her Daddy Daughter Date with Kyle, she could hardly wait to paint her nails, and my nails, and the nails of anyone that would hold still. The crazy part was that she was seriously very very good at it. She stayed “in the lines” and got the brush action down almost immediately.
She would concentrate like crazy while she painted, but the minute she wasn’t focused on the brush, she was all smiles.
Not only did she give me a manicure but I was lucky enough to get pastel rainbow nails with sparkles. She was so excited and loves to tell ANYONE (especially strangers in the store) that she painted her own nails and my nails. I love her determination and her fine motor skills seriously blow my mind.
