During our visit in Boise, Brooke was having some fun with her Aunt Jill. They were drawing with sidewalk chalk and that is when Aunt Jill made “Chalk Brooke.” Brooke loved her and was so proud of her.
Katelyn was “in a mood” however and instead of sharing in her little sister’s joy about chalk Brooke, she said “Good luck when it rains.” Brooke didn’t say much and I didn’t think she even realized what Katelyn had said. But a few minutes later, Brooke had figured out a solution to save “Chalk Brooke from her demise and told Katelyn that “Hers can get an umbrella.” Touché.
