The Day We Played at Grandma’s Pool

The kids had so much fun this summer swimming at Grandma Carol’s house.  They had a blast playing with their cousin Calvin and enjoying the summer sun.

Emily had fun watching Katelyn, Brooke and Calvin play.  One of my favorite moments was looking over and seeing Calvin with his funny alligator hat nonchalantly watering the lawn.  He is such a cute boy and kept us all laughing.

Emily was exhausted just from watching them.  Calvin and Katelyn had a blast jumping off the diving board.  Brooke liked watching them and cheering them on from the kiddie pool.

 

Emily even dipped her toes in the water for the first time.  She didn’t seem to mind and didn’t really seem to care either.

The kids also enjoyed some giant lollypops poolside courtesy of aunt Jill.  It doesn’t get much better than a warm summer day full of sun and sugar with aunts, cousins and grandma Carol.
