The Day that was Incredible

Gram an Pop took us to check out Incredible Pizza during our summer visit.  We had a great lunch and were pleasantly surprised at how good the food was.

The girls loved the rides and Katelyn even battled Pop on the Spin Zone Bumper Cars while Brooke and Gram cheered them on from the sidelines.

We played some fun games too but Katelyn and Pop were anxious to get to the Go Karts.  Just as they got buckled in and were ready to go, the power went out, and stayed out – so they gave us passes to come back another day.

So on our last afternoon in Utah, we headed back.  We had more great food and Emily even got to enjoy her first ride on the carrousel with some help from Pop.

There were more fun rides and games.  Emily had so much fun she fell asleep “standing up.”

Then it was time for the Go Karts.  The power didn’t go off this time, so they were finally able to race.  Katelyn did a great job driving her own car and Pop had Brookie as his co-pilot.  They LOVED doing this and I am certain it will become a tradition.  They will need a sidecar next year so that Emily can also ride with them.

 

We finished up with a fun game of miniature golf.  Mini-golf was something we did as a family ALL the time when I was a kid.  I LOVED it and I LOVED this.  Seeing my sweet girls playing mini-golf with my mom and dad and watching Pop teach them the was he taught me MANY years always so neat.  Leave it to me to get emotional at a place like Incredible Pizza.  The girls also loved the fun photos we took of Gram and Pop.

We had so much fun and are looking forward to visiting there again for another “Incredible” day.
