Last year we ran out of time during our Utah visit and didn’t make it to the Children’s museum, so I assured Katelyn we would get there this time. We started off our day with a fun ride downtown on Trax to the Gateway.
We practically had the place to ourselves and the girls loved every minute of it. They loved playing at the water center and managed to stay reasonably dry.
Their favorite part was the grocery store. Katelyn loved running the register and Broke was happy to be her customer. Brooke would fill her basket clear to the top and when I would tell her it was time to clean up she would happily go put everything back in the proper spot. I wish that element of fun would transfer over to her pretend play at home.
They also had a good time hanging out in the bird house. But Brooke didn’t not want me to take her picture when she was in the egg chair.
Katelyn loved playing mailman and gathering the eggs in the hen house.
The also loved “picking” fruits and vegetables from the garden.
They liked driving the farm truck too but in this picture it looks like Brooke wanted to be the driver. They also got to “fly” a helicopter and create their own production on the stage.
The girls had so much fun and loved playing at the museum. They also enjoyed going outside to play in the fountain. Katelyn thought the water shooting
up all over the place was really cool, so she started conducting it like a sorcerer. It was really cute to watch and by the end of the water show every little kid there was helping her. It was a great day and I am sure we will do it again on our next trip.

Holy Blogging Batman! Seriously! How do you do it! I haven't even read blogs for a week! I am so far behind on my blogs. Your trip has been well documented, and it looks like a whole lot of fun.
