So yesterday (January 9th), Emily and I were walking down one of the aisles at Costco with the refrigerated cases on either side of us. We were walking hand in hand and Emily was checking everything out. It was one of those rare Costco moments where you have the entire aisle to yourself. We were about halfway down the row when I noticed an older gentleman coming toward us. He had a nice round belly, long white curly hair with a matching full beard and round glasses that framed his little button nose. Emily noticed him too and in a clear voice greeted him merrily by saying, “Oh Hey! Hi Santa!” He smiled at her and waved and said “Hi!” right back. It was priceless.
