After a full and fun day in California Adventure Park, we were still looking forward to spending the evening in Radiator Springs. Disney has done such a fantastic job recreating this cute little town, and it is a must see at night. The neon lights and the illuminated canyons are (in my opinion) spectacular. We had a fast past for the Radiator Springs Racers so we decided to finish off our day hanging out amid a neon glow.
In between rides on the racers, we decided to check out Luigi’s Flying Tires. The ride uses a new bumper car concept and the tires actually raise off the ground like an air hockey table. It is a really fun ride to do with your whole group and is great for all ages.
This post could also be titled “The Day Emily Learned About Dates.” Gram and Pop decided to turn in for the evening and Kyle took Katelyn and Brooke to ride the racers one more time. At first, Emily wasn’t happy about not getting to go ride something all together, but I told her that we were going to go on a date. So I grabbed her hand and we started running. We took some pictures, checked out the shops and other cool sites and rode the flying tires again. About every 30 seconds she would say, “Mom! We’re on a date!” She was sold.
It was such a fun way to end a perfect day in the park.

We loved Radiator Springs! I was in awe the whole time. Didn't get to see it at night though. Next time for sure!
