The Day Brooke Started Ballet

Brooke was so excited to finally start ballet this fall.  Since she was two weeks old, she has been going to Katelyn’s ballet class each week and watching the girls dance through the one-way viewing mirror, patiently waiting for her turn.  She was so excited when the big day finally came.  

She happily choose the pink hello kitty leotard and skirt – the same ones Katelyn wore on her first day of dance five years ago… it seems like just yesterday.

Brooke absolutely loved her class and danced her little heart out.  The only thing she didn’t like was that it ended and she has to wait a whole week before her next class.

 

 

Katelyn’s class starts an hour after Brooke’s class ends, so we have enough time to have a nice picnic dinner in the back of the mini-van and hang for a bit together.  Emily doesn’t seem to mind the process at all so far.  She thinks playing in the van with her sisters is great.  But if they are all dancing in three years I think we will need to move next door to the studio.
