The Day We Went to Mobius

We decided to wrap up our summer fun this year, by taking a trip to Mobius Kids Science Center in downtown Spokane with Tami, “little” Kyle and Kara.

The plasma cars were still a definite favorite with all the kids.

Kara and Brooke loved shopping at the sari-sari store and cooking in the kitchen in the Filipino house.

The kids loved exploring and trying everything out together.

The kids also loved putting together a show for us… even Emily got to participate.

The kids ended the trip with an up close viewing of a Millie the African Millipede – they could have touched it, but all opted not to do anything of the sort.  I was brave and touched Millie’s super hard “shell.”  Bugs are nasty but educational I guess. 

 

 

The only reason the kids were ok about leaving is because they got to go back through the tiny door that leads outside and because we were making a stop at Subway for lunch.  Thanks to the Wills family for a great final field trip of the summer.
