After losing her first tooth on the first day of first grade, Katelyn was so excited for the Tooth Fairy to come and see her. But right after losing her tooth, she lost it again when it flew out of her tooth necklace holder and landed somewhere
in the grass at her elementary school. Even though we had a giant search party helping us look, we couldn't find the tooth in the grass. So that night, Katelyn made a paper tooth to put in her tooth box that Grandma Carol got for her and she wrote the tooth fairy a note telling her what happened.
She was so happy when she woke up the next morning and discovered that the Tooth Fairy did in fact come despite her lost, lost tooth. Here is a video of Katelyn describing the Tooth Fairy's visit. You might even catch a glimpse of the Tooth Fairy in the video. Watch carefully, because it really is quite subtle. "I saw a bright light..." Oh, that is too funny. It was like a near death experience! I can't believe how grown up she is - and what a cute tooth fairy you have. Now, how much money was that??
Yes, that adorable tooth fairy was very subtle :)
Too cute! Katelyn and the little tooth fairy!
What fun your little girls are! Although Katelyn is sure a big girl--reading and describing things really well! And your little tooth fairy dancing and knowing how pretty she was--too cute!
We had that happen as well--my oldest boy lost his tooth down the sink and couldn't get it out, so he wrote a note and got the money anyway.
Looks like the tooth fairy doesn't like being out of the spotlight.
LOVED her little dance/twirl/Native American type dance that Brooke did for a second there, where she kind of stomps and hops as she twirls. Lucy does the same thing.
Katelyn is such a sweet girl. I hope Lucy has such good manners!
I'm glad things turned out. I was worried as I was there when the earth stopped for that moment the tooth flew out of the case...
The tooth fairy is so on top of things.
