When we were in Boise this summer, Grandma Carol bought Katelyn and Brooke a Jack-in-the-box. The girls have loved it and play with it all the time. Their friends are also crazy about it. So Kyle and Katelyn decided to make one out of a box they found in the basement. They came upstairs looking very pleased with themselves and gave me a "Brooke-in-the-box." This one didn't play music and it couldn't pop out of the box on it's own, but it was really really cute.
At first, Brooke loved the game and thought it was really funny. She was so proud of herself and loved that what ever she was doing made us all laugh so hard. But then, my claustrophobia gene kicked in and she decided she was not a fan of this new game.

that picture is PRICELESS! how cute that at first she was having fun... then she realized that she couldn't move and was trapped. poor thing... good for a chuckle though ;)
A very cute Brooke-in-the-box.
I want one of those!
It seems you have discovered a much more effective time out method.
I'm totally copying.
SOOOO FUNNY!
She looks like a doll. Well maybe a crying doll, but a cute one none the less.
I like "Brooke in a Box!" It just wouldn't be the same as "Susan in a box" or "Karen in a box!"
If she weren't so darn cute, you'd be sad for her. But, you can't help but chuckle at her little face!
What fun! A Brooke-in-the-Box! Michael would use our old packing boxes and create mazes with them after our moves. His largest creation (and most expansive) was when we first moved to Spokane in 1985. We had a spare room downstairs and the maze stayed up for a LONG time. It was fun, but could get claustrophobic too. Just shows you don't have to be high tech to have fun. ;)
Those pics are priceless!
