Katelyn was so excited for her class Christmas party and Brooke could hardly wait until it was time to head over for the festivities. Thanks to a very great big sister, Brooke joined right in on all the fun and the girls had a great blast.
There were yummy treats…
… fun games…
…great crafts…
… and a fun gift exchange.
Brooke also got a dance party started. A group of kids joined her and they had a blast…. until Brooke tripped over a bump in the carpet and drilled her head on the edge of the cabinet. She was really sad but got over it pretty fast after getting ample attention from the kids and her amazing sister that didn’t want to move on to the next game until Brooke was OK enough to come with her.
Katelyn and her friends had so much fun and were so good to Brooke. She doesn’t have any idea it wasn’t her party and the kids all seem to feel that way too. I am so glad that Katelyn has such great friends and I am thrilled they all got to party this year. Last year’s snow days were a blast but the kids really missed having their big celebration. I am also so glad Katelyn likes to have us come and party with her. It was a great way to start the holidays!
