Kyle’s mom got us a darling set of silicone ice cream cone cupcake holders. We made some when we were in Boise and loved them. So the girls were anxious to invite some friends over to give it a try when we got home. They each picked a buddy to come make and decorate ice cream cone cupcakes. The girls had a blast decorating their cupcake cones and an even better time eating obscene amounts of frosting. Everybody had their own knife and pre-divided frosting, so I just let them have at it.
Once the cones were decorated and consumed, they headed out to run off their sugar buzz in the backyard.
And as all summer fun should, it ended in a water fight.
The amazing part was that there weren’t ANY tears and given the age span of the water fight participants, I was a little surprised. The four year olds stood their ground and the nine year olds were really nice. They all had fun and definitely got cooled off after getting sugared up.
