The Day We Decorated the Mini’s

The girls were so excited to decorate their mini-trees this year – especially when they found out that Emily had one too.  They had a blast selecting the ornaments they each wanted on their trees.  They especially loved hanging up the little ones that have their names on them.

They all worked so intently on placing their ornaments.

We were so surprised at how much Emily enjoyed the activity.  She loved hanging up ornaments but her favorite part was checking everything out and tasting most of it.

When the cuteness of her involvement wore off, Katelyn and Brooke put her in their favorite place for her when she is getting into mischief.

I love watching how their decorating styles change each year.  One thing seems to stay the same though is that  the blue ornaments end up on Katelyn’s tree and the pink ones are all on Brooke’s tree.  We are working hard to encourage Emily to love purple or green.  It would be best for everyone’s sake.
