The Day We Started Katelyn’s Break

To start off Katelyn’s Christmas vacation we decided we wanted to go see the Nutcracker.  Given the age span of the girls, we decided to go to a matinee that took place in the back of our mini-van.  We went to Sonic, folded down the seats and had a car picnic while we watched the Barbie Nutcracker movie.  The girls loved the show and that the drive-in was the coolest thing ever.  Thankfully the experience did not result in them adding roller skates to their Christmas lists.

The girls had a blast measuring and mixing but of course everyone’s favorite part was eating more dough than the law allows.

It was a great start to Katelyn’s break – we are so glad she is home with us.  We love Christmas break!
