Phase one of Katelyn’s adventures in orthodontia started last September. In July, she was able to stop wearing her Hannibal Lecter facial mask and in August it was time for braces on her top four teeth. Katelyn was SOOOOOO excited for this part of her Caribbean cruise phase one treatment plan. For 11 months, she has perused the multi-colored ties and pondered which shade of blue she would pick, while Brooke begged her to try her signature pink and purple combo.
The installation went well and she ended up choosing…
… blue AND pink ties. She said she wanted to try a cotton candy pattern, but I call that 100% sisterly love. Brooke was ecstatic that her color pallet was represented in Katelyn’s mouth and Katelyn loved making her little sister so happy. She also really liked sporting her new tin grin. Here’s to the eventual end of phase one!

Jade is about to get braces on her four front teeth too! I bet you can't guess what color she is thinking about!
